Position Summary
The shipping, receiving and warehousing of ingredients, materials and finished goods.


WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:

•    Shift: 3rd shift (12 am - 8 am) with rotating overtime, either 4 hours before or after shift

DUTIES
1.    Follow established procedures on loading and unloading of ingredients, supplies and finished products.
2.    Maintain adequate levels of supplies to packaging and processing areas.
3.    Follow established warehousing procedures while staging or storing ingredients, materials and finished goods.
4.    Keeping accurate shipping and receiving tallies and loading manifests in SAP or MES.  Perform Transfers as required in SAP and MES.  Maintain integrity of SAP and MES system at all times.
5.    Removal of trash from warehouse, packaging and processing areas to compactors.  Removal of recyclable corrugate to cardboard compactor.
6.    Safety and mechanical inspection of lift trucks.
7.    All other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Materials:  Supply machine centers with packaging and raw materials. Inspect the materials before using verify the correct material is being used with the correct raw ingredient to meet our CCP requirements. Rejects any damaged or deficient materials not meeting our specification. Maintain a food factory level of sanitation. Communicate with operators, mechanics, and management.
    
Equipment:  Operate and adjust packaging equipment in a safe manner. Ability to modify running conditions to maintain performance standards.

Safety:    Employee shall follow Waverly safety objectives & targets, follow the plant safety rules, report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately, maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the Safety Management System on all safety related procedures and programs.

Environmental: This position will adhere to the Nestlé USA Waverly Environmental Policy, the Pollution Prevention Plan, and the Annual Environmental Objectives & Targets. The position will support the continual improvement of energy conservation, solid waste minimization and management, and prevention of pollution within the scope of the position and throughout the plant.


Job requirements:
Consistent attendance and punctuality are critical to this role. The successful candidate must be able to report to work on time, maintain regular attendance, and work scheduled hours as required to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous lift truck experience
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis.
Willing and able to work overtime.
Willing and able to work various shifts.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
