Position Summary

 

As Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead, coordinate and delegate activities within your team to maximize performance, minimize costs, maintain quality, and champion safety and operating standards. You will be responsible for coaching, training and developing your team members all while executing daily maintenance projects, preventative maintenance and repair work. You will also lead your team in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and identify opportunities to optimize efficiency and continuously improve operations in the plant.

 

The first several months of this position will require travel for training purposes to other Nestle Purina factory locations. There will be little to no travel required once the Williamsburg Township facility is operational.

 

  • Plan and provide technical guidance, coaching, training and support to team members
  • Assign daily work orders and ensure associates have proper tools and instructions needed to complete tasks in accordance with Nestlé Purina standards of excellence
  • Manage team schedule, time off requests, payroll approval, evaluations, discipline and development
  • Promote safe work practices through modeling, training, observation and corrective action
  • Utilize break down analysis to drive continuous improvement
  • Validate integrity of maintenance data and communication provided by team members across all shifts
  • Coordinate maintenance projects with cross-functional teams in the factory and external contractors/vendors
  • Develop strategies with Maintenance Manager for efficient operation of the department, including utilization of resource planning systems, inventory management, implementation of projects and budget modifications


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years of people leadership experience
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $72,000-$101,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
