Position Summary:
Introducing Nestlé Purina’s new Williamsburg Township, Ohio, factory – just 30 miles east of Cincinnati. This world-class factory will be built from the ground up to produce a wide variety of some of the most trusted and beloved pet care brands in the U.S. Our passionate team in Williamsburg Township will work in an environment that values safety, the latest technology in manufacturing and a culture of learning. Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge in a dynamic startup environment? We are seeking a passionate and driven Maintenance Manager to lead and develop our Maintenance team at our brand new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Williamsburg Township, OH. This is not just a job; it’s an opportunity to be at the forefront of a major project that promises significant impact and visibility with Nestle Purina.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our operations. You will have the chance to build and mentor a high-performing team, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment, ultimately contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional products to our customers. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, tackle complex maintenance issues to achieve continuous improvement and/or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives, and develop strategies that will set the standard for excellence in our factory.
- Develop vision needed to lead and oversee maintenance support to factory operational equipment, as well as general facility maintenance.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of the Maintenance Department to maintain equipment at the highest practical level through continuous improvement of the maintenance systems, as well as leadership within the facility’s continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish departmental goals and objectives to maintain a low-cost, high-efficiency operation.
- Develop and implement innovative technical ideas and solutions for improved production efficiencies to reduce operating cost.
- Complete planning and budgeting for maintenance activities including extraordinary maintenance as well as annual budget for labor, repair materials, and outside contractors.
- Continuously improve maintenance staff to provide effective frontline leadership, maintenance planning, and a skilled hourly workforce through hiring, development, and retention initiatives.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, military or related environment
- 5+ years of people leadership experience to include salaried and hourly personnel
Other
- Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
The approximate pay range for this position is $92,000 to $155,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with Company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
