POSITION SUMMARY
We're proud to introduce our state-of-the-art factory, located just 30 miles east of Cincinnati. From the ground up, our world-class facility in Williamsburg Township produces a diverse range of beloved and trusted pet care brands. As a Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for development, management, compliance, on-going sustainability and continuous improvement for the factory’s food safety programs to assure all products are manufactured, packaged, stored and shipped under safe and wholesome conditions.
The first 2-3 months of this role is project related with the goal of planning and developing the department as we approach operational startup. This position will require travel up to 50% for the first 2-3 months and will gradually reduce from there. The travel will include training and onboarding at other Nestle Purina operating facilities and will assist with the startup of our Eden, NC plant.
- Implements and manages Integrated Pest Management within the facility.
- Manages, improves, and trains associates on factory Food Safety Programs including but not limited to: HACCP Plan, GMP, Master Sanitation, Foreign Body Program, Chemical Control, Bio-Security and Pathogen Monitoring Program.
- Acts as a people leader for Food Safety Associates and provides training and coaching on Food Safety to all Factory Associates.
- Coordinates root cause investigations and corrective action for food safety topics.
- Leads the Factory Food Safety Team in accordance with FDA, regulatory, and Company guidelines and is the primary contact for internal and external audit teams on Food Safety topics.
- Maintains effective communication with production, engineering and maintenance to ensure compliance with all Quality and Food Safety requirements.
- Manages Contracted Custodial, Waste Removal and Grounds Maintenance Services for facility for all factory food safety programs.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years' Pest Management, Food Safety, HACCP, Laboratory, Hygiene and Sanitation or Auditing experience within a food manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment
- 2+ years supervisory experience
- Must obtain Ohio Certified Pest Management Professional License within 3 months if not already certified.
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% for the first 2-3 months
Other:
- PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) Certification preferred
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) Certification preferred
- Food Safety Plan knowledge preferred

The approximate pay range for this position is $67,000 to $97,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
