As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and coordinating Engineering design and execution covering all aspects of material handling and process unit operations as applied in capital projects. Technical expertise to include design aspects of food processing technology, in terms of production systems, quality/sanitation, system, and equipment design and application.
 

  • Knowledge of equipment functionality for production such as; pumps, blowers, mixers, bins, mechanical conveyance and proprietary equipment.
  • Ability to size system equipment and piping systems.
  • General understanding of material properties and best practices for equipment and system design.
  • Produce engineering deliverables capital projects including Process Flow Drawings (PFD’s), Basic Process Operation (Theory of Operation), P&ID, Equipment Specification and Procurement, and Commissioning/Startup Support.
  • Work with engineering designers to approve 3D models and layout drawings.
  • Coordination of work by outside consultants and suppliers and an understanding of principles and practices to perform engineering functions
  • Other duties as assigned.
     

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related Technical Field
  • 3+ year of experience in an engineering or project management role within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment
