Introducing Nestlé Purina’s new Williamsburg Township, Ohio, factory – just 30 miles east of Cincinnati. As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will oversee the handling and shipment of all finished products in a safe and efficient manner. You will be responsible for supervision and performance management of a team of warehouse associates, while maintaining operation with established standards for cost, quality, efficiency, and safety. 

 

The first two years of this role are project-related with the goal of planning and developing the department as the Williamsburg Township plant approaches operational startup.This position will start out working a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule with options of either Monday-Thursday OR Tuesday-Friday with hours of 6am-4pm. The hours will adjust to working either 6pm-6am on a 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on) OR Monday-Friday 6pm-2am (Relief) once the Williamsburg Township plant reaches operation. This position will require minimal travel to other Nestle Purina operating facilities for onboarding and training purposes.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all confirmation of orders and shipment of all finished goods by truck.
  • Manage accuracy in loading and receiving through leading and coaching associates, collaborating with a team of supervisors. Achieve dock schedule and manage inventory flow with shippers. 
  • Coach and lead team to conduct inventory audits to identify and resolve variances and ensure proper controls are in place. 
  • Maintain safety, quality, housekeeping, and labor standards within warehouse operations. 
  • Participate in shift handover meetings and logistics daily operations reviews. Coach associates in problem solving and root cause analysis, fostering continuous improvement. 
  • Ensure proper use of Extended Warehouse Management by associates to lead team in a safe and efficient manner, maximizing storage and labor efficiencies.   

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years' supervisory experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or related environment

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $50,000 to $83,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
