Position Summary


We have a fantastic opportunity for a Interim – Head of HR CPW UK Manufacturing to join our team based at our Cereal Partners UK Factory in Bromborough.  The main purpose of this role is to work in partnership with leaders, key stakeholders, and HR colleagues to shape, develop and deliver HR plans and solutions in line with the needs and priorities of CPW UK. Operating as the HR expert, to advise, guide and support Leaders by developing and delivering the people strategy for the business.

A day in the life of a Interim Head of HR CPW UK Manufacturing 

 

This role, like most HR Leadership roles has key objectives, but the daily definition reaches so many realms within such a large people space. The main focuses can be summarised as below 

 

-    Establish and maintain effective relationships with employees and their representatives. Lead positive employee relations strategy in a unionised environment to ensure a progressive  employee relations climate including playing a leading role in local factory pay negotiations and related activities. 
-    Promote and foster a culture and environment that is open, productive, empowering, safe and fair. 
-    Coach factory leadership teams, managers, and employees to behave and make decisions that are in line with the CPW values and competencies and the CPW Code of Conduct.
-    Ensure compliance in HR (CPUK)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              
-    Promote CPW Culture and values in CPW UKI
-    Be the gateway for the business into the HR function to ensure Line Managers and Employees understand the HR model and can quickly and efficiently access solutions. 
-    Collaborate and provide business insight to ensure initiatives and projects are designed and implemented that support businesspeople plans. 
-    Provide objective and timely feedback to the market on the quality of service to ensure the overall HR service to the business unit meets or exceeded agreed standards.


What will make you successful?


•    Ten+ years working as a Head of HR/HR Director with strong employee relations experience. in employee relations, functional human resources or labor/employment law, with at least five of those years of experience in workplace/EEO investigations and/or labor/employment law
•    Experience of working at senior level with Trade Unions at local and national level in a progressive employee relations climate
•    Hold a HR related degree and be a chartered fellow of the CIPD
•    Previous experience working in a FMCG or similar. 
•    Experience of working within a large, fast paced environment
•    Strong communication skill
•    Ability to prioritise and use own initiative
•    Experience coaching, consulting and advising employees and HR & business stakeholders and experience managing conflict resolution in the workplace. 
•    Strong ability to analyze data, develop and prepare standard and ad hoc reports, and present findings with conclusions, responses, and recommendations to HR and business leaders. 
•    Acts with sense of urgency, a bias for action, and with a desire to thrive in a dynamically growing environment.
•    Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with extreme discretion. Technically proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
