The four-year apprenticeship is built around the Level 6 Food Industry Technical Management Apprenticeship standard, which incorporates a BSc degree in Food Technology.

The programme blends block-release university studies with real on-the-job work experience. You will learn all aspects of food technology in the factory then apply your learnings to enhance our quality systems in the factory. Ultimately, you’ll have the satisfaction of being part of a great team playing a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest safety and quality standards.

What will make you successful

Our Apprenticeship programmes are designed to help you build and grow certain strengths and qualities. We’re looking for ambitious candidates with a passion to learn and a genuine interest in developing a career in the food and drink industry.

You should have or be predicted 2 A-level or equivalent qualifications including one science-related subject, plus 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C including Math’s and English.

What you need to know

Great benefits you’d expect from a business the size of Cereal Partners – Studying for a degree while holding down a job in a fast-moving business like ours can be demanding and challenging, but the rewards will be huge. That's why we're looking for high quality people with real potential who can match our commitment and ambition.

In return, we’ll provide you with great support and a variety of benefits. Your starting salary will be offered at the start of the apprenticeship with the opportunity for annual increases providing you’ve successfully completed your training and met our Nestlé standards.

The closing date for this role is 20th August 2022

We will be considering candidates as they apply and we will occasionally close job advertisements early in the event we receive sufficient applicants, so please don’t delay in submitting your application.

At Cereal Partners, our values are rooted in respect – for our employees, our customers and our consumers.  That’s why championing diversity and inclusion is so important to us; when we embrace different perspectives and give everyone the chance to be the best they can be, we can think in new, creative ways that grow and enhance our business. We are committed to equal opportunity for all and we may collect relevant data for monitoring purposes during our candidate registration process.  Be yourself, everyone else is taken!

Right to work in the UK

In accordance with Home Office guidance successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencement of employment.  We have assessed this role and do not consider that we would be able to sponsor a successful candidate under the Skilled Worker route as the role does not meet the relevant Home Office criteria; the successful candidate therefore must be able to demonstrate their own right to work during the recruitment process without Nestlé sponsorship.
