Scope

 

The HR Site Administrator is a pivotal role responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative support across the site. You will help ensure people processes run efficiently day to day, with a strong focus on organisation, accuracy, and effective communication.

 

 

Role Purpose

 

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator for our Sincereal factory based in Bromborough. To provide comprehensive administrative, HR, and operational support within a busy manufacturing environment. This role is critical in supporting the site leadership team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining compliance, and enabling effective people processes across the site.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

This role provides comprehensive administrative and HR support across the full employee lifecycle within a manufacturing site, including onboarding, contractual changes, and leaver processes. You will support site payroll and time and attendance activities, liaising closely with central payroll teams to ensure accuracy and deadlines are met. The role involves maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems in line with GDPR requirements, supporting recruitment through interview coordination, offer issuance, pre-employment checks, and onboarding packs. You will also track absence, holiday, and timekeeping data, producing reports for site leaders, and support training administration by maintaining training matrices, monitoring mandatory compliance, booking courses, and coordinating site inductions.

 

Additional Responsibilities

 

  • Provide proactive administrative support to the site leadership team, including diary management, coordination of meetings, and preparation of operational documentation
  • Support daily, weekly, and monthly site leadership meetings, taking responsibility for agenda preparation, minute taking, and tracking actions to ensure timely follow-up and site alignment
  • Assist with site communications such as shift briefings, noticeboards, toolbox talks, and internal updates to ensure clear and consistent messaging across operations
  • Coordinate site visits, audits, and inspections, including engagement with customers, suppliers, regulators, and other external stakeholders
  • Maintain site compliance documentation, including training records, policies, risk assessments, and health & safety-related paperwork
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation, evidence packs, and action trackers
  • Produce and maintain regular reports, including headcount, absence, overtime, and KPI data to support operational decision-making
  • Ensure all digital and physical filing systems are accurate, well structured, and audit ready at all times
  • Assist with the organisation of site events, employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities, and related communications

This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, confidence working in a manufacturing or industrial setting, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting both people and operational outcomes.

Proven HR  experience in an administrative role (ideally within manufacturing or operations environment).

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience supporting HR processes and working with HR systems
  •  Experience in a fast-paced production or site-based environment
  •  Familiarity with compliance or audit processes

 

 

Working Conditions

 

This role operates in a food manufacturing environment with regular time on the factory floor and exposure to noise, dust (grain), moving machinery, temperature variation, and manual handling activities. Flexibility is required to support shift teams, critical incidents, shutdowns, trials, and business needs.
