Position Summary

 

We are looking for a Digital Transformation Lead to join our Nestlé Purina business; based at our Wisbech Factory site. This role is responsible for executing the next phase of our journey towards the Connected Operations strategy. Building on our foundations and backed by a supportive team, you will be responsible for accelerating our constantly evolving digital technologies.

Our Wisbech factory makes some of the UK’s most well known and much loved brands, such as Felix, Winalot, Gourmet, and Purina ONE, and is constantly developing to meet the changing needs of our consumers. For a town with a rich history it also has a strong vision for the future with continued investment planned to ensure Wisbech remains a great place to work, live and visit.

A day in the life of a Digital Transformation Lead…
 
As Digital Transformation Lead you will be accountable for driving the delivery of innovative business solutions to create maximum competitive advantage. You will work cross functionally at all levels using your expertise to communicate complex technical concepts into simple language that anyone can understand to get the best out of our digital solutions. Setting a clear direction on the Digital Journey for operations and explore new digital opportunities. 
 
Key responsibilities of this role will include:  

•    Own the Digital transformation plan for whole site - capturing and supporting all digital initiatives across all functions, connecting within the market T&P corporate teams or globally driven with Nestle.
•    Lead digital capability to create a mindset of innovation and digital transformation ensuring understanding, adoption and embracing of the change across site            
•    Understand todays’ challenges & the future needs of our Digital platforms and ensure proposed technology solutions sufficiently address the identified gaps
•    Collaborate with all functions to ensure Data & Analytics to look for areas of Digital Exploitation
•    Participate and partner in Regional and Global forums for digitalization and promote knowledge transfer while ensuring Wisbech is aligned with global/market digital strategies
•    Develop and own a Digital Governance model to ensure standardised technologies & processes are adopted
•    Establish KPI’s for tracking progress and maturity of digital transformation
•    Lead key digital projects ensuring clear cost/benefit analysis, risks are mitigated, issues managed and clear reporting to good project management standards.    
•    Develop digital systems and tools to provide solutions for identified gaps within the functions
 
What will make you successful?

 

To be successful in this position you will be a great communicator with the ability to breakdown complex technical concepts and coach users using simple user friendly language to get the best out of the digital solutions and ensure stakeholder buy in. 

•    Extensive experience in Microsoft Power Platform.
•    Proven experience of successfully deploying a variety of business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change
•    Proven experience of working with complex integrated systems, using creative and strategic thinking to deliver exceptional results
•    Strong engagement, communication and stakeholder management skills, including excellent presentation and influencing skills
•    Experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and develop innovative solutions
•    Analytical, detail oriented, highly organised        
•    Project Management (Practical usage of Agile Methodology) and Change Management would be advantageous.  
•    Knowledge of manufacturing environment would be beneficial.  
•    Previous experience using SAP would be beneficial
