Manufacturing in Nestlé is all about ensuring the consumer receives a perfect quality product, at the right time and place whilst driving losses from our business in order to maximise efficiency & productivity. The Wisbech factory is growing and has significant investment planned. 
 
A day in the life of Maintenance Methods Manager


As a Maintenance Methods Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our consumers receive high-quality products at the right time and place. You will lead the factory team through preventative maintenance methodologies in accordance with the site Operational Master Plan.

 

Further responsibilities include: 

 

•    Drive continuous improvement through Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) foundations and Total Performance Management (TPM). 
•    Empower people to motivate and develop their capability. 
•    Drive value engineering through strong cost control to agreed engineering budget.
•    Driving exception Safety, Health & Environment standards 
•    Ensuring all members of your team effectively comply with the quality standards within maintenance activities.
•    Supporting the loss tree analysis process to identify and prioritise losses, and give direction to your team in order to drive loss reduction.

 
What will make you successful


To be successful in this role, you should ideally possess the following qualifications and skills:


•    HND/Degree in Engineering/Manufacturing discipline.
•    Previous experience working in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
•    Experience in safety management.
•    People leadership experience.
•    Effective communication skills.
•    Continuous improvement mindset.
•    Flexibility and a strong customer service orientation.
•    Teamwork abilities.
•    Technical analysis and problem-solving skills.
