Position Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity available, our Nestlé Petcare manufacturing site based within Wisbech, Cambridgeshire have an exciting major Capex Investment project starting very soon, supporting the site to expand even further, we are looking for a talent SHE Advisor to join the project team to support us with the implementation and start up phases of the project.

A day in the life a Project SHE Advisor...
Reporting into the Project Engineering Manager, you will ensure excellence in safety, health, and environmental sustainability during construction. Monitor site standards, recognise good performance and challenge and address poor performance.
Key responsibilities of this role
• Compliance with local SHE legislation and Nestlé SHE standards and principles by ensuring SHE is integrated into project planning, operational reviews, design-for-construction, and contractor management.
• Ensure the site is under control with secure access, safe access and egress routes, correct signage and with relevant risks effectively managed. Ensure high standards of health & hygiene conditions for workers, with appropriate emergency medical response.
• Monitor and control that specific safe working practices are in place with a focus on high frequency risks (i.e., slips, trips, falls, injuries from sharp points and edges) and high hazard tasks (i.e., work at height, critical lifting, hot work).
• Supervises the labour Protection Management system on the project in accordance with regulatory requirements and objectives of the company.
What Will Make You Successful?
To be successful you will either have previous experience within a project engineering department or experience within a fast-paced FMCG Manufacturing environment focused on process related activities.
Other key attributes would be:
• Take ownership of SHE and drive change through personal leadership.
• Help the team, managing SHE in a multiple contractor environment.
• Translated policies & standards into practical action plans.
• Coached individuals and teams in different environments.
• Local SHE Regulations Knowledge and Certifications
• Safety Project Management Skills.
