Position Summary

 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented, driven individual to join our Nestlé Purina Wisbech Manufacturing site, we are looking for Quality Systems Manager to join the team. reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.  This role is a key role for the factory; you will work as part of a team to ensure legal compliance to ISO Standards, Nestlé standards and systems are adhered to.

A day in the life of a Quality Systems Manager

 

As a Quality Systems Manager your key objectives will be to complete these activities but not limited to:


•    Ensure that FSSC22K / ISO 9001 accreditations are maintained
•    Maintain documentation for Factory Systems and Quality Management System, Procedure and  
     Process etc. 
•    Ensure timeliness on close out of non-conformances raised as part of internal audits and external  
     audits. 
•    Manage the internal audit schedule (QMS / HACCP / Process / GMP)
•    Provide coaching and training to operators as required
•    Feedback quality issues to line operators / team managers
•    Represent the QA department at the factory compliance group 
•    Ensure Compliance to Nestle standards to the latest versions from Compliance Tracking Tools
•    Act as main point of contact for customer and consumer complaints, perform contributor analysis    
     as needed and drive improvement with team.
•   Carry out risk assessments for product quality on Management of Change requests.
•   Technical acceptance of new products with Innovation & Renovation Team. 
•   Support the processes and team in achieve the Nutritional compliance
•   In addition to these responsibilities, the role holder will be required to carry out other such duties as reasonably requested 

What will make you successful

 

To be considered for this pivotal role within the Wisbech Factory, we are looking for candidates who have the passion to explore and be dynamic with improvement projects.

 

Other key attributes will include:

 

•    Educated to degree level or equivalent in a food or scientific discipline
•    Proven quality experience with in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG
•    Preferably experience with ISO 22000 and 9001 and FSSC 22K 
•    BRC knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
•    Lead auditor trained and Experience internal and external auditing
•    In-depth knowledge of HACCP/ GMP / Food Manufacturing
•    Experience in handling of customer and consumer complaints
•    Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders both internal and external
•    Good planning and organisational skills
•    PC literate, excellent understanding of Excel / Word / Power point.
• Experience in using SAP, Master Data Set-up etc.
