Location: York
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts to cover 24/7 operation. Average of 21 hours per week with 8 weeks holiday per year. Set shift pattern, Days (07:00 – 19:00) and Nights (19:00-07:00) including weekends.
Salary: £16,750 (£13,400 + 25% shift premium) + fantastic benefits!

Position Summary
Are you ready to take on a dynamic role at the heart of our supply chain and logistics team? Join us in York as a Delivery Coordinator on a part time basis and become a part of Nestlé SA, the world’s leading health, wellness, and nutrition company.
You will provide support to the team in order to deliver a seamless, proactive, service focussed, 24/7 operation that is responsible for the successful delivery of the product entrusted to the UK Nestle market, including customer deliveries, factory clearance, chocolate delivery, WIP, supplier inbound, backhauls, and work undertaken for and by 3rd parties.

A day in the life of a Delivery Coordinator
As a team, we provide a transport solution to support the needs of our customers, factories, copackers and some of our suppliers across Nestlé.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment dealing with multiple stakeholders both internal and external to Nestlé, driving a problem-solving mentality within the Transport Team to successfully delivery our products.
Key responsibilities: -
- Collaborate and Coordinate: Work closely with Hauliers, Distribution Centres, Factories, Customers, Suppliers, and Co-manufacturers to ensure the timely delivery of customer orders, the collection of finished goods, the delivery of packaging materials and ingredients, and the availability of trailers across the network.
- Communication is Key: Keep internal and external stakeholders informed about issues impacting the network.
- Problem-Solving: Formulate and instigate plans to reduce overall delays and ensure seamless operations.
- Customer Delight: Deliver best-in-class customer service and contribute to our sustainability roadmap through the efficiency of our logistics network.
