This role is working 12 hour shifts on a 24/7 shift pattern (days and nights), average 42 hours per week, with 8 weeks holiday per year.

A Day in the Life of a Delivery Coordinator

 

As a team, we provide a transport solution to support the needs of our customers, factories, copackers and some of our suppliers across Nestle. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment dealing with multiple stakeholders both internal and external to Nestlé, driving a problem-solving mentality within the Transport Team. 

 

You’ll provide support to the Transport team in order to deliver a seamless, proactive service for our 24/7 operation. The department is responsible for the successful delivery of our products including inbound and outbound deliveries as well as work undertaken for and by 3rd parties. 


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and Coordinate: Work closely with Hauliers, Distribution Centres, Factories, Customers, Suppliers, and Co-manufacturers to ensure the timely delivery of customer orders, the collection of finished goods, the delivery of packaging materials and ingredients, and the availability of trailers across the network.
  • Communication is Key: Keep internal and external stakeholders informed about issues impacting the network.
  • Problem-Solving: Formulate and instigate plans to reduce overall delays and ensure seamless operations.
  • Customer Delight: Deliver best-in-class customer service and contribute to our sustainability roadmap through the efficiency of our logistics network.
