Job Title: HR Administrator – 12 month fixed term contract
Location: York Office (2 days a week in the office)
Salary: up to £27,000 depending on experience + potential bonus + generous pension scheme + 12 flexible days on top of 25 day holiday entitlement + 2 paid volunteering days + other fantastic benefits!

Position Summary

We are delighted to be recruiting a brand new role on a 12-month contract to join our HR team. As an HR Administrator you will report into the HR Service Experience Manager and deliver high-quality HR administrative and operational support throughout the employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on data quality and compliance so being detail orientated is crucial.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into HR to develop your experience surrounded by experts and led by a supportive and knowledgeable manager.

 

 

A day in the life of an HR Administrator….

As an HR Administrator, the role will be varied depending on the needs of the customer. The role will involve:

 

  • Maintaining secure, confidential and GDPR compliant employer records through the employee digital filing system.
  • Supporting the wider HR Services teams with incoming post, filing, and sending to our offshore administration team where required.
  • Administration support with audits and other manual file management.
  • Other HR administrative tasks as required including processing expenses and mail merge support.

 

 

What will make you successful?

The successful candidate will have the passion and drive to succeed in the role whilst taking pride in all required tasks. Strong administration experience is essential with a process driven mindset and exceptional attention to detail. You will also:

 

  • Have experience in managing a variety of HR processes but not essential.
  • Have proven ability to work with confidential data while maintaining integrity and discretion.
  • Have good working knowledge of GDPR and compliance-related issues.
  • Be adaptable to changing priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Be highly organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently at pace.
  • Have the ability to handle repetitive tasks with patience and diligence as well as demonstrate self-motivation and reliability consistently. 
  • Maintain composure under pressure and have the confidence in constructively challenging the status quo. 
  • Be naturally inquisitive, always seeking opportunities for learning and improvement. 
  • Build and nurture strong relationships across teams, fostering collaboration. 
  • MS Applications Proficiency: Proficient in basic MS Applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
