Position Summary

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, service oriented IT to help provide a professional GLOBE and ISIT Service to the Nestlé UKI and NIM businesses incorporating straight forward Second level IT support for IT tasks in the areas of End User Computing, Printing, Mobile solutions and IT related applications and Software. You will be the secondary point of contact (After the CCC team) to provide advice, guidance and rapid restoration of normal services to internal customers.

  

 

A day in the life of...
  • Provide rapid "first responder" ISIT Support to the Nestlé UKI NiM Business incorporating  the initial basic support for End User Computing, Networks switches, servers, Mobile Devices, Remote support of VPN and Printing. Ability to diagnose and resolve common problems using basic FAQ pages/knowledge-base that an end user may have access to.
  • To attend and resolve Workstation/Network issues that cannot be resolved remotely, ensure that users are kept informed and updated on progress of Incidents and Requests using SM9, telephone, mail as appropriate(including at NIM Head Offices
  • Assist and engage fully with support  for GISIT & LGO Projects requiring Client related activities such a road mapping of old workstation
  • Assist and help with hosting Digital bars/training sessions/learning lunches

 

What Will Make You Successful?

 

You will have good customer service as well as good communication skills and a can do attitude.

A strong knowledge of IS/IT systems & processes. Logical troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve common problems using FAQ pages / knowledge-base  and past experience.
