Position Summary

We are delighted to be recruiting a Learning & Development Specialist on a 12-month contract, with a primary focus on Digital and Compliance. As a member of the Learning & Development Team, this role encompasses four principal responsibilities:

  • Supporting and enhancing the internal Learner Experience Platform (GROW).
  • Designing and updating digital resources in alignment with local L&D strategies.
  • Managing and reporting on local compliance training delivered online.
  • Coordinating the development of the operational plan by working closely with other L&D Specialists during the business planning cycle.

A day in the life of a Learning and Development Specialist….

Learning at Nestlé is currently undergoing a significant transformation. In July 2025, we launched the new Learner Experience Platform, marking further advancement of our digital learning strategy by expanding access to self-paced development opportunities for employees. As digital learning becomes an increasingly crucial element of our portfolio, this role will help drive this evolution and oversee our compliance initiatives.

You will play a pivotal position within the team, collaborating closely with market, regional, and global partners. It also demands close coordination with the wider L&D team and key business stakeholders to design, maintain, and continuously evaluate online learning solutions, drawing upon the 70-20-10 framework and 5Di learning design principles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the market’s single point of contact for the GROW platform, liaising with regional and global colleagues while developing market-specific expertise to maximise platform efficiency within the UK&I market.
  • Overseeing e-learning support requests and content development in response to market requirements.
  • Managing the implementation and ongoing reporting of mandatory e-learning compliance programmes.
  • Coordinating the communications strategy for the L&D function, in partnership with the broader L&D market team.

What will make you successful?

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management and demonstrate a passion for people development and a willingness to embrace technology and learning systems to drive results. Ideally, you have experience managing online learning platforms and training administration, but this is not essential.

In addition, you will:

  • Demonstrate a proven ability to analyse data, extract and drive insights, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Work independently and proactively, showing initiative and be highly self-motivated.
  • Manage multiple priorities with strong organisational skills.
  • Have experience collaborating with subject matter experts and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders adapting your communication style to different audiences.
  • Have experience of factory compliance is a benefit.
  • Have experience in building relationships and fostering collaboration across a global platform.
