Position Summary
Here at Nestle we have a fantastic opportunity for a focused individual to join the Health and Wellbeing Team based in our Nestle House York office. Medical administration is central to our team, it’s highly valued within the team and key to the day to day running of our services.

A day in the life of a Medical Administrator
- First point of contact for general telephone, email, and Teams enquiries, managing resolution where possible, escalating complex enquiries to an appropriate person within the team.
- Day to day support for the team, enabling smooth running of services, raising tickets, resolving matters on behalf of the team to enable our clinical team to focus on appointments.
- Scheduling and diary management, ensuring clinics are fully utilised every day.
- Initial triage for referrals, ensuring appropriate information is provided to enable timely appointment booking.
- Chasing hospitals and GP surgeries for medical reports. Providing updates to the clinical team.
- Data Subject Requests, liaison with third parties, preparation of cases for clinical redaction.
- Running monthly statistical reports from our occupational health software system.
- Running trackers, measurement of activities and key performance indicators.
- Processing invoices, billing, and cost monitoring in support of the budget.
- Record management and storage, maintaining archived records in storage and active records held on our occupational health software system.
- Escalation for timely resolution of matters related to our occupational health software system.
What will make you successful?
As the successful candidate you will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, who is proactive, organised and has exceptional customer service skills as well as experience in administration. An excellent communicator, with an understanding of the need for confidentiality, consent, and data protection. Having systems knowledge including Microsoft office suite and SAP experience would be advantageous.
