We are recruiting for 1 position on a fixed-term contract (FTC). This position is suitable for either Full-Time or Part-Time applicants, but the length of the FTC is dependent on your preferred working pattern, due to resource requirements within our team. Your final responsibilities in role, will also be tailored to fit your working pattern.

Position Summary
A superb opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and ambitious individual to join our Operations Decision Support Finance team based in York. As an ODS Analyst, you will provide a professional accounting, decision support and costing service to a range of factory teams and co-packing operations, meeting strict deadlines and ensuring compliance with company standards.
A day in the life of an ODS Analyst
As an ODS analyst, you’ll deliver a highly effective product costing service by providing accurate and timely costing of SKUs, and calculating costs for new product development. On all costings, you will provide insightful commentary on drivers of cost to our factory and category based teams.
You will work alongside a variety of cross-functional teams, including offshore shared service centres, to support a robust quarterly transfer price process, as well as efficient resolution of adhoc requests relating to transfer pricing.
In addition to this you will build and maintain effective working relationships with managers and key contacts in operations & supply chain, and develop a good understanding of our manufacturing processes.
You will successfully support the financial Period End Close (PEC) process, by posting accruals and prepayments, as well as completing other support activities including providing insight to controllers.
On an annual basis, you’ll work closely with our Factory and Co-pack teams to ensure accurate input of the annual budgets, being a key contact for budget queries, and ensure compliance with Nestlé Accounting Standards and all other guidelines issued.
In addition to this you will:
• Provide informed and highly effective decision support including weekly and monthly variance reporting.
• Ensure all postings made are compliant and adhere to costing standards. Assist with audits as necessary.
• Support Factory Controllers, Operations Management, Planning & Analytics teams, and above-market with analysis and interpretation of factory reporting data.
•Provide cover and assistance to your fellow team members in the event of holiday and absence.

To be successful, you’ll have a curious approach to everything you do, a tenacity to succeed and a problem-solving mindset. You will also be able to demonstrate fantastic communication and influencing skills across a range of different stakeholder levels whilst being able to challenge the status quo when needed. An ability to understand how you impact the wider business performance is also essential for this role. Experience in F&C & Manufacturing would be desirable.
