Working closely with manufacturing sites, suppliers, co-packers and global stakeholders, the team helps ensure our products reach consumers safely, efficiently and responsibly.
We're looking for a Packaging Co-Ordinator to join our Group Packaging team. In this role, you'll support the development, validation and implementation of packaging solutions for new and existing products, including third-party manufacturing and pre-filled shipper projects. You'll contribute to innovation and renovation projects, manage packaging data and specifications, and help deliver high-quality packaging solutions that meet Nestlé standards and legislative requirements.
Your Impact
As a Packaging Co-Ordinator, you'll help bring new packaging solutions to life while ensuring accuracy, compliance and operational excellence. Your work will support product launches, packaging improvements and sustainability initiatives across a diverse product portfolio. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered successfully, on time and to the required quality standards.
- Supplier & Project Coordination: Coordinate packaging costings, prototypes, trials, machinability assessments and transport testing with suppliers and third-party partners.
- Data & Specification Management: Create, maintain and accurately manage packaging specifications, pallet layouts and master data within Nestlé systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to packaging optimisation projects that improve efficiency, reduce costs, simplify specifications and support sustainability objectives.
- Technical Support Provide packaging support and documentation to manufacturing sites, co-packers and project teams to support successful product launches and operational performance.
- Innovation & Renovation: Support the development, testing and implementation of packaging solutions for new products and packaging changes through Nestlé's innovation-to-launch process.
Your Ingredients for Success
To succeed in this role, you'll have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You'll be confident handling technical data and documentation, collaborating with a range of stakeholders and contributing to project delivery. Experience in packaging, manufacturing or a technical environment would be beneficial, as would a Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Packaging, Chemistry or a related discipline. Most importantly, you'll be keen to develop your technical capability and grow your career within Nestlé's Packaging team.
- Packaging Knowledge: Understanding of packaging materials and manufacturing processes experience desirable.
- Qualifications: Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Packaging, Chemistry or a related discipline is desirable.
- Data & Systems Management: Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage technical documentation, specifications and master data accurately.
- Communication & Collaboration: Confident communicating with suppliers, manufacturing teams, co-packers and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve shared project objectives.
- Technical & Digital Capability: Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with technical systems and data management tools.
- Planning & Organisation: Able to coordinate multiple projects and priorities while maintaining quality, compliance and delivery timelines.
