Location : York (Hybrid)
Salary Circa £51,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Your Impact
Here at our Nestlé, we are currently recruiting for a talented individual to join us, as a Procurement Controller reporting into our Finance Head of Operations. This is a great opportunity where you will be a respected leader within Finance and Procurement, helping to shape vision, structure, practices and priority initiatives that ensure the procurement team and Operational Finance team deliver the needs of the market. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures, as well as identifying cost-saving opportunities.


By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and finance professionals, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Your insights and financial analysis will be crucial in driving informed decision-making and optimising procurement costs.

 

Your responsibilities will include:
·    Lead monthly material price and energy dynamic forecast, quarterly TP, and ACE processes.
·    Prepare variance analysis, narrative, and insight for price variance movements.
·    Support Procurement team with cost improvement opportunities and monitor progress against savings targets.
·    Promote activities to improve payment terms and lead Supply Chain Finance program.
·    Ensure visibility of PRN and EPR related costs and forecasts.
·    Assist with finance support on key ESG projects and ensure accurate reporting.
·    Promote understanding of financial key figures and costs within Procurement through training and coaching,
·    Ensure transparency of costs and financial impact of strategic Procurement decisions.
·    Ensure compliance with Nestle financial policies, Accounting Standards, and Costing Standards.
·    Coordinate and be the key finance contact for internal and external audits within Procurement.
·    Support sustainability-related audit and compliance activities (e.g. Rainforest Alliance, Fair Trade).
