Salary up to/from £35,000 - £45,0000 depending on experience + potential bonus + generous pension scheme + 12 flexible days on top of 25-day holiday entitlement + 2 paid volunteering days + other fantastic benefits!

Position Summary

 

We have a new opportunity at our Cereal Partners site in York (or our other location Staverton), we are looking for a Recipe Manager to join the team and support the CPW R&D activities.

As Recipe Manager you will support the transition for CPW R&D to SAP landscape and lead the group of activities related to recipe transfer and Manufacturing Documents.


You will also support the implementation strategy of the CPW initiatives or policies related to recipes. As such, you contribute to build competence in R&D and Operations on category specific recipe and Manufacturing Documents processes and tools. You are responsible for ensuring adherence to recipe processes according to applicable standards to support new product development compliant with internal and external requirements and on time. You provide deep knowledge on recipes, guidelines, and corresponding management tools to support new product formulation.

A day in the life of a Recipe Manager

 

They Key activities but not limited to are ..

 

• Lead the activities linked to the transfer of CPW recipes in SAP
• Establish new way of working to create and release Manufacturing Documents
• Support the creation of the formulation projects and their assignment to relevant guidelines/regulation.
• Support and guide the formulation of new products according to Material & Recipe Management processes
• Provide guidance on/manage generation of the recipe validation reports
• Participate in cross-functional project teams and provide recommendations to overcome product related challenges
• Identify opportunities and drive improvement of Material & Recipe Management processes and tools (SAP RM, CAT and DevEX) to support compliance by design, efficiency and data quality
• Approve recipes according to portfolio in scope
• Train users on category specific Material & Recipe Management processes and tools
    

                                                                                                               

What will make you successful

 

To be successful it is key that you will be able to manage multiple stakeholders, build relationships and multi task a variety of projects at the same time. You will need a strong service orientation and demonstrate a genuine passion to develop yourself further.

 

Key attributes will be:

• Experience in SAP RM (recipe creation and validation)
• Experience in change management
• Experienced (2+ yrs) in Innovation or Operations in R&D or in a factory/market, specifically on management of ingredients, recipes, finished products, compliance or label data management
• Understands product commercialization process from product design to manufacturing
