We are recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst to support our Waters category and FP&A team, Leading the monthly Period End Close (PEC) and Dynamic Forecast (DF) processes in the category, and ensuring accurate and insightful financial information provision to the teams

Your impact
This role plays a crucial part in supporting decision making in the category, providing quality financial information to all key stakeholders, as well as being a leader in the finance analyst & analytics communities in the journey towards digitalisation and quality service across all categories.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the Scenario Planning Meeting with the Category Head of Finance and relevant FP&A colleagues to ensure an aligned DF submission is agreed including all relevant R&Os. Ensure accurate capture in the FIT tool.
- Lead PEC process in category, understand and communicate clear drivers of performance to Head of finance through monthly PEC review meeting
- Ensure key controls are executed for both PEC & DF submissions
- Ensure category insightful reporting and analytics are provided to help the business to understand gaps to targets.
Your other key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure accurate preparation and publication of both the PEC and DF reporting packs, and assist Head of finance in co-piloting category stakeholders to understand key drivers of performance.
- Drive optimisation of DF process through continuous improvement, standardisation, and sharing of NIM best practices.
- Support with the co-ordination and phasing of total PFME budget providing updates as required.
- Oversee the accuracy and reliability of non-MOGE reporting, such as OVE (Other Value Expenditure), OPFE (Other Production Fixed Expenses), Bad Goods, and Bad Debts
Your ingredients for success
To be successful in this role you will be a fully qualified accountant, and an enthusiastic and self-motivated finance professional, who is keen to gain insight, and to pro-actively manage challenging responsibilities. Good communication skills are important to enable financial information to be understood across the team.
You will also need:
- Ability to communicate financial information to finance colleagues.
- Keen to develop for continuous improvement and best practice projects.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the P&L.
- Have excellent systems knowledge including advanced Excel functionality and ideally possessing SAP experience.
- Drive optimisation of DF process through continuous improvement, standardisation, and sharing of NIM best practices.
