Location: York Distribution Centre
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday 07:00-15:00

Position Summary
We have a great opportunity for an MHE Trainer to join our team at our York Distribution Centre.
Your role will be to carry out MHE training to RTITB or equivalent standard for the York DC and an agreed range of internal and external customers.
In addition, the role will act as an expert in MHE driving standards and be able to advise the management team on such areas as safety and appropriate equipment.

A day in the life of a MHE Trainer
The day-to-day responsibilities for this role will include but will not be limited to:
- Delivery of training courses to approved standards
- Liaise with management team & Compliance Co-ordinator on training capacity and planning
- Provide specialist knowledge to the management team on MHE matters
- Deliver familiarisation on new machinery as required
- Review course feedback and action any improvements
- Maintain audit compliance to all internal and external guidelines/standards
- Promote Safety Culture through Safe Driving, Accident Investigations, RRA processes
- Maintain standards within the MHE training facility
- Ensure Paperwork is filed
- Ensure all bookings are made using the training calendar
What will make you successful
It will be desirable for the candidate coming into this role to be a qualified MHE trainer with a recognised external body. We can support with additional training courses but knowledge of MHE is essential.
Other key experiences will include but will not be limited to:
- Knowledge of warehouse processes
- An awareness of Health & Safety
- Understanding of training compliance
- Training and Coaching Competency
- Be an effective communicator with both internal and external stakeholders
