York - Shifts Monday to Friday between 8am -6pm

Position Summary

The York CRC Team are recruiting for 4 talented Coffee Specialists. As a Coffee Specialist you will act as a Brand ambassador and continuously elevate the customer experience throughout the customer lifecycle by transforming each touchpoint. You will strive to build brand engagement, trust and loyalty.

A day in the life of...

As a CRC Coffee Specialist for Nespresso you will:

 

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
- Serve customers in inbound and outbound contacts by phone and in writing directly identifying, understanding and addressing their specific needs and expectations.
- Achieve high customer satisfaction through personalized and professional communication 
- Impact the customer effort positively by addressing obstacles diligently, asks questions, offers solutions and follow-up to avoid multiple problem-solving contacts.                                       
- Deliver an outstanding level of service to the customer by balancing the respect of processes and reasoned exceptions adequately.

 

COFFEE EXPERTISE & EXPERIENCE
- Be an expert of Nespresso products, services and sustainability commitments, continuously learns and leverages new knowledge and skills in own work.   
- Translate expertise into each customer contact, uses adequate vocabulary and gives the level of information needed according to the customer’s situation.
- Inspire customers with authenticity and helps them explore their options for a tailormade coffee experience proposal.

 

SALES TECHNIQUES
- Create customer retention and sales opportunities across outbound and inbound contacts, high value customers, order size or -value through genuine interest in customers and their habits, leveraging relevant offers.
- Assure added-value to customers using acquired sales skills such as story-telling, open questions, active listening, up- and cross-selling methods. 
- Handle challenging conversations and objections expertly, offers customers new options and valuable solutions, using learned methods such as objection cycle, active listening and open questions.
- Apply the brand tone of voice to each touchpoint and situation. 

 

OPERATIONS EXCELLENCE
- Contribute to Customer service excellence with continuous ideas generation to improve existing processes and design new and more efficient ways of working across all CRC tasks (internally and at the outsourcer's).                                                                                                                                        
- Assure data quality and follow-up across all interactions and channels.   
- Perform all tasks and decisions in line with our quality standards, procedures and compliance rules, including gestures of goodwill.
- Operate all tools available, such as ERP and intranet, in a steady and agile way. 
- Where relevant, deliver back office support to B2B Commercial team in contracts and customer data management.
 

What will make you successful

The successful candidate will have prior experience in customer service & sales, in B2C and/or B2B (customer focus, products, services, contracts, payment terms, delivery). They will have experience of working in a fast paced environment where multi-tasking is key. They will be confident in using Microsoft office package (word, excel) as well as using multiple digital tools (live chat, social media) and software packages.
