The team provide cover Monday to Friday 0700 - 22:00, Saturday cover 0800 – 1600 and Bank Holidays. Some flexible requirement on a Sunday when required.
 

Position Summary

We have an opportunity to join the Supply Chain team at York as a Road Export Shipper.

A day in the life of...

Your role will be to ensure the day to day operation, planning and execution of a number of customs and regulatory activities that enable all European & International road and short sea transport to export smoothly from the UK whilst ensuring full compliance with all relevant local, country and International legislation.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

•    Manage road export documentation for all NiM Distribution Centres and Factories
•    Apply for DEFRA certificates for all Products of Animal Origin
•    Apply for Soil Certificates for all Organic Products
•    Produce commercial invoices from SAP
•    Complete export documentation and apply for T1 application within SAP
•    Create export documentation pack to include EAD, packing list, invoice and T1 LRN number. Once completed it is to be emailed to the dispatching location, market import broker and uploaded into Transporean
•    Maintain archive folder for all documentation
•    Adhere to all Market GSI's

What will make you successful

We are looking for someone that is comfortable in working with stakeholders both internally and externally and is happy to challenge and work towards resolutions. The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to working hours and the ability to work well as part of a wider team.

•    High degree of accuracy
•    Ability to demonstrate a customer service mindset
•    Knowledge of Windows systems and preferably SAP
•    Familiar with international trade processes and procedures
