Position Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for the preventative and predictive maintenance of all plant systems including facilities, unloading, processing, packing, and warehouse operations. Play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements while always working in a safe manner to troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Maintenance of plant systems: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation.
- Install and program Variable Frequency Drives.
- Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain switch gears, control wiring and components, overcurrent and overload protection for plant motors including three phase systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical controls systems including motors and PLCs.
- Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
- Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment.
- Maintain wastewater system, boiler operations, cooling towers, and general building needs.
- Complete predictive maintenance while utilizing thermal imaging and ultrasonic analysis.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment OR a two-year technical degree completed.
Other
- Experience working with 480 industrial voltages preferred.
