Position Summary

As a Factory Controller you are responsible for being a Co-Pilot to the Factory Leadership Team and other departments in the factory. This role has a huge focus in performance management systems, factory accounting, budgeting processes, materials (cost) accounting, personnel development for the Accounting team, cost estimates and forecasting, financial analysis, capital evaluation and costs analysis, internal control management, and policy compliance.
 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with factory departments to ensure all Period End Close activities are completed in a timely fashion based on factory and corporate deadlines.

  • Ensure all required internal controls are in place and followed, including any required internal audits, roles reviews, segregation of duties, and other duties.

  • Ensure timely and accurate development of the annual budget by working with department managers and corporate to achieve future cost objectives.

  • Provide regular costs analysis and reports to the factory leadership team and corporate to assist in managing costs and identifying cost savings initiatives.

  • Provide direction to Factory Accounting team and evaluate performance to help achieve department objectives.

  • Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to accounting team members using the Nestlé Continuous Excellence principles as a guide.

 

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience working with General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Internal Controls, Budgeting, and Variance Analysis in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military, or related environment.

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience managing and developing teams.
