Position Summary

 

As the Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for accurately and effectively supporting the plant maintenance group by developing the preventative and predictive maintenance program utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This involves collaborating with the Operations Planning Manager, Production, Maintenance and Engineering departments to coordinate planned maintenance activities to ensure proper asset care and reliability. You will also be responsible for all maintenance work order KPI tracking, trending management, and ensuring that all maintenance activities are effectively planned.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Administration of the preventative maintenance program; issue, update, modify, and create PM’s
  • Administration of SAP for Maintenance functions
  • Stage parts for projects and work orders as needed
  • Dispense parts to the maintenance personnel as efficiently as possible to reduce downtime
  • Work with Manager/maintenance personnel on equipment upgrades
  • Communicate with vendors on specifying parts and/or new parts as needed
  • Communicate maintenance measures to Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Team Leader
  • Act as backup for the storeroom/receiver associate
  • All other duties assigned

 

Basic Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, military, or related environment
