Our pet food factory in Zanesville is favorably located along the banks of the Muskingum River in scenic east-central Ohio halfway between Columbus and Wheeling, West Virginia. This 100-year-old facility was acquired by Nestlé Purina in 1987 and has since evolved to incorporate our innovative portfolio of products, processes, and technical equipment. Zanesville is the only Nestlé Purina location that produces Alpo® Meal Helpers, Moist & Meaty®, and Beneful Simple Goodness for all of the United States and Canada—packaged and shipped with the utmost quality and nutrition. 

 

As Senior Human Resources Coordinator, you’ll help lead activities concerning employees’ benefits, leave administration, attendance, job bidding, and training. Come prepared to grow our teams and people as you oversee hourly recruitment activities, handle payroll for hourly and salaried associates, and serve as a resource for new employees with support from an HR coordinator.

 

  • Maintain payroll hours in Kronos for on-cycle processing in SAP, includes running reports, balancing hours, and verifying calculations of hours, taxes & deductions.
  • Provide weekly/monthly current and historical payroll reports to departments.
  • Check and update employee records for timely, accurate record keeping, includes managing SuccessFactors intake forms.
  • Coordinate hourly recruitment activities including interviews, job bidding, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Administer leave program to include FMLA and Short-Term Disability.
  • Schedule and help facilitate New Hire Orientation.
  • Track and administer attendance program.
  • Support Education and Training (E&T) program.

Requirements

  • High School Education or GED required.
  • 3 years of Human Resources administration required.
  • 1 year of experience in MS Office required.

 

Other

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and time-management skills preferred.
  • Ability to work with deadlines preferred.
  • Previous experience in payroll and leave management preferred.

 

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $45,000 to $63,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
