Our pet food factory in Zanesville is favorably located along the banks of the Muskingum River in scenic east-central Ohio halfway between Columbus and Wheeling, West Virginia. This 100-year-old facility was acquired by Nestlé Purina in 1987 and has since evolved to incorporate our innovative portfolio of products, processes, and technical equipment. Zanesville is the only Nestlé Purina location that produces Moist & Meaty® for all of the United States and Canada—packaged and shipped with the utmost quality and nutrition.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Stockroom Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and compliance of our storeroom and storage areas. Your responsibilities will include ensuring clear aisles, organizing shelving, and conducting routine safety audits to meet all safety standards. In addition to these tasks, you will support maintenance and storeroom operations by performing various duties as assigned.
PRIMARY RESPONSABILITES
- Operate forklifts to load and unload non-ingredient and non-packaging materials.
- Communicate with the Maintenance Buyer regarding the need to prepare orders for operating supplies.
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming parts and materials against packing slips; accurately process receipts in system, label items, and store in designated locations daily.
- Investigate discrepancies, file damage claims, and perform routine inventory reconciliation.
- Execute and manage cycle count processes, including preparing weekly counts, running inventory reports, investigating variances, and updating part information and adjustments within the AMM system.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by generating and analyzing daily and periodic reports
- Actively participates in all factory safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years experience with inventory management and/or receiving in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, military or related environment.
Other:
- SAP experience
- Advanced Excel & spreadsheet skills

The approximate pay range for this position is $42,000 to $58,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with Company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
