  • Previous experience (around 10 years in total) in complex construction sites
  • Background in Civil engineering is mandatory
  • Knowledge of Industrial Services is highly recommended
  • Manufacturing projects management (“making it happen”):  5 years’ experience  in a international project environment context within which, projects were defined and budgeted, assessed and implemented (entire project lifecycle) with PMI certification
  • Fluency in Italian and English is required
  • Compensation Package: CCNL Industria Alimentare, Annual Base Salary €85.000,00.   
     

 

Position Summary 
Lead the construction and Industrial services scope execution and coordinate contribution of all stakeholders (from project brief until agreed sustained performance is achieved) by managing a cross-functional team whose objective is to oversee the capital investments relating to the company's fixed assets. This could involve the relocation and optimising of the existing fixed asset base and/or the purchase of new fixed assets. It must extend from the initial conceptual studies through to project closeout. 
Responsible for ensuring smooth start up of all industrial services to ensure optimal generation and distribution of utilities for the factory operation. i.e. electricity, steam, refrigeration, water and effluent treatment, hygienic air handling and compressed air.
Responsible for delivering New/extension/modification of Buildings in compliance with local regulation and Nestlé people safety and hygienic standard.

 

A Day in the Life of a Construction and Industrial Services - Project Engineering Manager:
•    Organize project execution and manage budget above 20 MCHF.
•    Manage third parties such as General contractor, technical client, system integrator according to regulation, standards and norms.
•    Proper management of project documentation (Technical instruction/ SOP...) / digitalization per group standard.
•    Be responsible for issuing the Project specific User Requirement specification (URS) integrating Standard URS from TAP/Utility & Corporate functions. 
•    Coordinate third party contractor tender & work allocation. Achievement of FAT, SAT, commissioning and close Snag list.
•    Control the project communication (especially for environmental aspect with local authorities)
•    Ensure consistency between progress report & execution, control and validate deviation & Variable Orders.

 

What will make you successful? 
•    Experience in construction (civil) and industrial Services engineering discipline, preferably in food related manufacturing environment (min 10 years)
•    Experience operating or supervising others who operate Industrial services systems
•    Manufacturing projects management (“making it happen”):  5 years’ experience  in a international project environment context within which, projects were defined and budgeted, assessed and implemented (entire project lifecycle) with PMI certification
•    Capital Investment projects management with experience of managing project with success around 15 MCHF.
•    Determination of methods to minimize the likelihood of injuries or damages to people and/or equipment (Health, Safety & Environment).
