Position Summary 
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team, reporting to the Senior Category and Shopper Insights Manager. This role is central to data management, with a strong focus on maintaining data integrity and enabling reporting capabilities that support efficient operations and informed business decisions. This position is an existing vacancy.  

 

A day in the life
You will play a key role in automating data workflows, improving reporting processes, and maintaining the tools and structures that support efficient data delivery. You will help design and enhance dashboards, streamline recurring reporting, and ensure business teams have timely access to accurate, well-organized data and insights.

 

You will also:
•    Leverage advanced analytics, reporting, and database management tools to automate data preparation, improve reporting efficiency, and develop scalable data solutions.
•    Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that convert complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
•    Support with the development of monthly reports that address business issues and opportunities.
•    Maintain data quality and consistency across reporting platforms by ensuring accuracy, reliability, and standardized formats.
•    Champion insights literacy by supporting tool training and support cross-functional teams with data management 
•    Manage research budgets, supplier onboarding, and monitor spend against forecasts and POs

 

What will make you successful?
•    3+ years of experience in Customer Insights, Category Management, or Data Analytics 
•    Hands-on experience with Python and Power BI is required
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required
•    Experience using syndicated data platforms (e.g., NielsenIQ, Numerator) is an asset
•    Post secondary education in Business Administration, Data & Analytics, Marketing, or related field. 
•    Strong communication skills with the ability effectively convey findings in a clear and persuasive manner
•    Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to extract insights and formulate recommendations
•    Proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal, communication, project management, and organizational skills
