Position Snapshot (Senior Strategic Buyer) 

Location: Head Office, Bandar Utama
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Category Management, or Supply Chain roles.

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer who will develop and execute category sourcing strategies that support business growth, deliver cost competitiveness, ensure supply continuity, drive supplier innovation, and create long-term value for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category sourcing strategies, including communication and supplier management plans.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that best meet business, quality, service, and cost requirements.
   
• Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization and deliver sustainable cost efficiencies.
• Ensure supplier compliance with the Nestlé Supplier Code and responsible sourcing requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement innovation opportunities that support business growth and renovation initiatives.
• Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and deliver agreed service levels and sourcing support.

What We're Looking For

•  3+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management.
• Proven experience developing sourcing strategies and delivering cost optimization initiatives.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience conducting TCO analysis, supplier performance management, and risk mitigation activities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and collaborate across local and regional teams.Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments is a plus.
