Join our new regional team as Strategic Category Manager MAGGI Benelux, where you’ll shape and execute MAGGI category strategy, spearhead category growth and lead towards our customers in flawless execution to build weatherproof relationships. As Strategic Category Manager Benelux, you have the following responsibilities:
- Ensure category growth of the MAGGI categories through winning strategy and excellent execution, adding value for shoppers, customers, and Nestlé;
- Own channel strategy and lead the category agenda at customers to build weatherproof relationships;
- Lead ICP (Integrated Commercial Planning) process; ensuring internal and external alignment on the category strategy and initiatives;
- Managing the MBP (Market Business Planning) process by actively monitoring and evaluating category and brand development, identifying gaps between annual objectives and latest estimates, and providing direction for activities to close these gaps;
- Ensuring successful launch of innovations and renovations with customers and drive distribution of the head of assortment;
- Execute SRM to maximize top and bottom line while leveraging pricing, mix and promotion;
- Developing promotion policies and guidelines based on portfolio and brand pricing strategies, as well as consumer and shopper insights;
- Guiding the annual allocation of commercial investments across channels/customers in the Benelux region;
As Strategic Category Manager MAGGI you report to the HEAD of CDT Benelux & Nordics.
What we’re looking for in the Strategic Category Manager MAGGI Benelux:
- > 6 years of commercial experience with proven track record in category management and delivering on commercial KPI’s;
- Strong personality who can motivate and bring people together;
- Proactive, analytical, and decisive;
- Data driven with excellent skills in analyzing Nielsen and SIS data;
- Experienced in collaborating and leading cross-functional (business) teams;
- Resilient and agile in adapting within a volatile context and to different cultures in the region;
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language.
