Essentia, the brand behind #1 ionized alkaline water in the premium bottled water category, is looking for a rock star brand creative lead to join our dynamic brand marketing team.  Essentia continues on its journey to be a lifestyle brand that is essential in people’s lives and matters in culture. We are looking for a highly conceptual creative lead who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment to bring to life visually impactful, distinctive, and engaging brand experiences.

 

You are talented and passionate about your craft and are looking for an opportunity to do your best work yet.  This role will report directly to Essentia’s Head of Marketing.

 

What you get to do every day:

  • Working in close collaboration with brand and marcomm team, lead the development of insights driven integrated content strategy and story-telling ideas
  • Lead an integrated creative strategy and execution across all consumer and customer touchpoints, including internal stakeholders
  • Drive compelling conceptual story-telling that makes consumers fall in love with the brand, paying close attention to what’s worked/not worked (insights & analytics)
  • Collaborate with external agencies to develop impactful differentiated ideas and executions
  • Constantly push creative boundaries in order to generate fresh unexpected (on-brand) content that connects with our consumers in new ways. This requires staying on top of trends.
  • Continue evolving how the brand shows up across various creative formats, i.e. lifestyle and product photography, animation style to create a category disrupting and ownable look and feel.
  • Oversee creative development of effective shopper marketing tactics and executions, including product labels and pack design
  • Accountable for brand consistency - look/feel, voice/tone and ensure it’s maintained across all channels & mediums
  • Effectively manage external creative resources – agencies, photographers, editors, videographers, animators etc. – to ensure work is brilliant, on brand, on budget, and on time
  • Oversee and manage one copywriter and a project manager

 

Additionally:

  • Understand marketing initiatives, strategic brand positioning and consumers
  • Drive design of brand experiences including experiential designs, retail merchandise and wearables
  • Concept and lead content shoots and production – lifestyle & product
  • Working closely with brand team and agencies, own the evolution of brand guidelines to encompass new uses cases as needed
  • Stay on top of all trends and best practices

 

What you bring to the role:

  • Proven working experience in a creative lead capacity, 5-7 years. Art Direction/design background preferred
  • Highly conceptual creative thinker, story-teller and problem solver
  • You have an impeccable eye/aesthetic. Experience with premium and/or lifestyle brands a plus
  • Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Open and highly collaborative with strong communication and presentation skills
  • You are always willing to jump in, roll up your sleeves and get the work done
  • Relevant education, training, or experience
