We are looking for a new KitKat Brand Manager Benelux reporting directly to Daniek Spanjers (Marketing Manager Confectionery Benelux).

Position Summary

As a Brand Manager KitKat, you're responsible for

  • the most iconic product for better breaks, leading in chocolate with the message ‘Have a break, have a KitKat’;
  • the #1 countline brand globally;
  • the widest brand portfolio which plays a key role in several segments in store, countlines, tablets, bitesizes and seasonals;
  • introducing one of zone Europe’s Biggest Bets fueling growth for the upcoming years ‘KitKat Tablets’ in Benelux;
  • unlocking KitKat’s biggest partnership ‘Formula1’ to create a local pole position in the category;
  • translating a big marketing budget in great communication and activation plans;
  • the brand which is leading the sustainability journey in confectionery with the Income Accelerator Program and being one of the first brands with paper packaging;
  • and creating little smiles day after day because you will be working in the happiness category.

 

A day in the life of a KitKat Brand Manager

  • analyze and understand the brand, segment business performance, consumer trends and competitive scene in different channels;
  • product management; as brand manager KitKat you are responsible for the total KitKat portfolio in the Benelux market with the introduction of new products, relaunches but also optimizations to realize growth in both value and profitability;
  • work closely with the International KitKat team and implement the global brand strategy into our local marketing brand and communication plans;
  • building and execution of our yearly brand and communication plans in close collaboration internally with CDT, sales and finance and externally with our media agency Openmind;

 

As KitKat Brand Manager you report to the Marketing Manager Confectionery and you are part of the Confectionery Team of Nestlé Benelux.

 

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor and/or Master’s degree;
  • at least 5 years experience (preferably in FMCG) within Marketing, Sales or Category management;
  • Experience in brand building and marketing communication combined with a passion for brands;
  • Experience with project management;
  • Strong analytical skills with also a pragmatic mindset & able to bring clear prioritization;
  • Proactive, positive attitude with a solution driven mindset;
  • Ability to build relationships amongst people and functions both internally and externally;
  • Fluent in English, proficient in Dutch, and preferably advanced in French
  • Willingness to travel on a monthly basis to our Amstelveen office in Netherlands
