POSITION SUMMARY:
To lead, inspire, develop, challenge and coordinate market media communications. Supporting Marketing and Business Managers to accelerate strong brand growth by applying the winning actions from Creating Engaging Brand Experiences and Plan and Execute Flawlessly within the BBNW framework.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
- Ensure full adoption of Integrated Communication Planning. Lead on media principles implementation for brands, aligning all communication partners with the process.
- Work with Consumer Insight teams and external agency partners to ensure Nestlé applies latest media research, insights, and trends.
- Support Head of Media on MENA's media agencies relationships. Develop Media KPIs across all Contact Points to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Benchmark all buying performance to ensure continuous improvement. Demonstrate appropriate use of media KPIs and leadership on which KPIs are most relevant in line with latest market research. Market Procurement as a partner consultant on delivery/performance.
- Lead and develop Media Communications test and learn programs to increase knowledge and capability in both 'new media' and 'future media' (identified significant marketing trends that are still in infancy).
- Provides expertise and best practice guidance across the key pillars of all media touchpoints.
- Support bi-annual/annual performance reviews of the media agency partner.
- Evolve with Head of Media communication reviews. Collaborative annual process with brand and communication partners to better understand what's working and what's not.
- Co-lead the development of offline and online media strategies for all Nestlé brands
- Co-lead the negotiation with offline & online media suppliers
What will make you successful…
- Strong Media knowledge with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in media agency management or equivalent position in FMCG.
- Experience in both planning and buying functions plus full knowledge of emerging media.
- Strong knowledge across both offline & online media.
