Activation & Promotion Cluster Lead

POSITION SUMMARY

Nestlé Morocco is looking for an A&P Lead to lead the A&P function across the Cluster while governing the trade approach across all A&P pillars and setting KPIs to track & adhere to the plans, while managing cross functionally to ensure optimal delivery of plans across the cluster teams ranging from Promo Planning, POSM management to Sampling and Brand activations.

 

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE A&P LEAD

  • Lead and manage the sourcing of new production, sampling/activations and co-packing agencies.  

  • Responsible for securing Contracts, while ensuring full compliance with the Responsible Sourcing Audit.

  • Full alignment with the procurement team to make sure that all contracts/rate cards are being finalized and followed and adhere to.

  • Represent A&P requirements in the MBPC process while participating in all other activation and promotion decisional meetings (internal & external), ensuring cross functional alignment (Sales, SC, CTDs, Sales Support).

  • Responsible to manage the approved PFME budget in coordination with all business units by OPC and drive all saving initiatives to reduce cost and increase productivity (sampling & activations, POSM and co-packing)

  • Accountable and responsible to lead and manage successful End-to-End execution of all consumer promotions. 

  • Supervise proper distribution of POSM and sampling items while ensuring full compliance with local SOP.

  • Responsible for effective planning and execution of sampling & brand activities in accordance with category plans (Retail/Educational/etc...)                                                                                                          

  • Leading on all saving initiatives to drive efficiency in execution as well as sustainability and recycling

  • Create/design and maintain detailed Executional Guidelines for all sampling activities and brand activations

  • Set standards of reference for POSM & sampling and Co-packing best practices

  • Adhere to and strictly follow Nestlé basic hygiene guidelines on planning, briefing and implementation of Sampling activities and brand activation.

  • Ensure factory QA sets clear guidelines and carries out periodic spot check when needed. Ensure SOP related are strictly followed across the cluster

  • Ensure adherence and compliance to NME labelling requirements. 

  • Ensure internal and external alignment on the development of local POSM/Cartons/Packaging/Fixtures related to promotions/sampling &exhibitions.

  • Ensure strict adherence and compliance to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk substitutes and Nestle Instructions and local country codes.

  • Ensure quality of promotions in retail through feedback reports on market visits.

  • Check & evaluate the service performed by suppliers of POS materials, branding, visibility projects and co-packing and address areas for improvement.

  • Ensure team members are trained and updated on required skills and knowledge.

  • Establish SMART objectives for team; develop, coach

  • Identify and develop back-up / potential successors for key roles within the team.

 

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL…

  • 4-5 years of experience in a similar position in Advertising or Marketing with a full knowledge of the key pillars of the A&P function

  • Knowledge of Products and local market as well as local trade and international retailers’, understanding of company strategies, customer needs and consumer behavior

  • Knowledge of Retail Management and Field Management

  • Core Knowledge of the 10 Principles and expert knowledge in our areas of responsibility

  • Analytical thinking and financial awareness

  • Planning and organizing, problem solving, influencing
