POSITION SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a Senior Producer to join our freshly assembled creative experiment. The Kolla Production Department is a team of producers and makers who collaborate closely with the Kolla creative team and across all functions of Vital Proteins. The ideal candidate will utilize agency producer communication skills as well as in house studio line producer and post producer skills. They’ll report to the Head of Production and work alongside a motivated team of industry leading professionals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Think through production realities from end to end, running in-house productions, as well as managing creative and production discussions with outside production companies and external vendors.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and workflows to ensure timely delivery of final assets.
- Facilitate effective communication between makers, Kolla team members, external partners, and marketing and brand teams.
- Manage day-to-day production issues to allow the team to produce the highest possible quality deliverables.
- Understand the ins and outs of social platforms and digital marketing content types like TikTok, IG reels, DTC; as well as campaign deliverables.
- In collaboration with HOP, support creation, implementation, and refinement of production practices and methodologies for the studio.
- Own and ensure efficient project and budget management on Teams, Asana, SharePoint, Excel and Figma.
- Supervise makers and their time throughout the course of each project.
- Quality check all outgoing postings. Work with makers to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years relevant experience in a production and/or post-production environment.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Proficient in many different types of productions that range from internal and digital content to full-up video campaigns.
- Proficient in social media platforms and their unique video requirements and editing tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; successfully communicates internally, with other departments, and outside vendors.
- Ability to think and express ideas both strategically and tactically.
- Able to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes, work efficiently and productively under tight deadlines running multiple projects simultaneously.
- Well-organized, excellent follow-through.
- Committed to achieving goals and taking ownership.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems that impact our studio and develop quick solutions.
This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Chicago, IL.
The approximate pay range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
