The Challenges that Await You
As our new Nordic Brand & Innovation Manager, you will become part of a team of 8 and report to our Nordic Marketing Manager for Confectionery & Food. As this is a Nordic position, you can choose to have your home base in our office in either Copenhagen, Helsingborg, or Oslo.
You will be responsible for driving the Smarties brand, leading seasonal portfolios, as well as innovation and renovation projects across our Confectionery & Food brands. You will collaborate closely with local Commercial Development Managers (CDMs), and counterparts in the Zone teams and at the factories. You will strive to leverage Nordic synergies and secure that we have the right plans to achieve our targets, in line with the overall strategy and objectives.
In this role, key responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end project management for product Innovation & Renovation (I&R) initiatives.
- Exploring new opportunities and leading the portfolio offerings for our customers.
- Preparing business cases and trade presentations with an outside-in perspective, and in line with category strategies and targets from an omni-channel perspective.
- Driving the yearly business planning process for your brands with country-specific insights, incl. comprehensive business and category analysis and identification of consumer propositions.
- Ensuring effective cooperation and alignment with key stakeholders, such as Category Development Managers (CDMs), Key Account Managers in the Nordics, and with our colleagues in Central European teams.
- Working in close collaboration with supporting business functions (supply chain, logistics, factories, regulatory affairs, etc.).
- Continuously monitoring and reviewing business performance of portfolio and category.
- Acting as brand guardian, ensuring brand assets are represented according to brand guidelines in all materials, incl. POS.
We are looking for the Power of YOU
We are looking for someone who is passionate about FMCG and our brands, both when it comes to driving innovations as well as managing our brands’ P&L and category insights. You bring an excellent commercial understanding and know how to make category analyses from internal and external sources, in order to drive initiatives.
As a person, you have a strong drive with a positive “can-do” attitude. You are structured, good at executing plans, and can work independently as well as in teams. You focus on results and adopt a pragmatic approach to prioritization to achieve business targets. You are proactive by nature and a strong collaborator. In addition to this, you:
- Hold a relevant educational background in marketing, business administration, or similar.
- Bring a minimum of 2-4 years' experience from a similar role, ideally within an international FMCG environment.
- Are fluent in both English and at least one of the Nordic languages (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish).
- Are experienced with project management, as well as analyzing quantitative POS data and market research (e.g., Nielsen/Euromonitor).
- Are skilled in using Microsoft Office tools.
Previous experience with working in SAP will be considered advantageous.
