Gatwick - (Hybrid working - office days 2/3 times a week)

Salary up to £47,000 depending on experience + potential bonus + generous pension + 25 days annual leave + 12 additional flex days off on top of annual leave and two paid volunteering days!

 

Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Brand Manager to work as part of the Nestlé business on our food brand, Maggi! This is a fixed term contract which will report into our Marketing Lead for Food. You will be a part of a team where you will share the value of open communication to generate impact and return towards our common goals.

 

 A day in the life of a Brand Manager…

Ultimately, you will be responsible for helping manage the world’s largest food brand Maggi. You will be expected to help define the brand strategy and build long-term plans to achieve our ambitions aligned with the wider business vision, gaining exposure to all elements of the marketing mix and more. The key responsibilities of this role include:

 

  • Developing a deep understanding of the consumer/category; using consumer insights to drive brand equity through the delivery of communication and innovation.
  • Working with the wider Maggi team to develop advertising and media planning ensuring messaging alignment with target audiences/brand guidelines; ensuring digital and social are embedded in brand/communication plans.
  • Project management of innovation & renovation projects in line with the long-term strategy, in strong collaboration with cross category teams for best-in-class execution.
  • Supporting the development of the annual strategic plan, helping to define portfolio strategies and overall brand plan.
  • Co-ordinating local commercial stakeholders to ensure brand projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Playing an active role in the UK brand marketing team to drive synergies across the teams and ensuring the execution of annual brand targets.
  • Engaging with all other internal stakeholders managing all subjects related to the brand.

 

What will make you successful?

To be successful in this role you will already have some fantastic marketing experience under your belt. Ideally, you will be already working in a Brand Manager or Assistant Brand Manager role. You will be passionate, tenacious, results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for the brands, you will have strong project management and analytical skills. You will need to be highly organised, conscientious and a team player. Pro-activity and enthusiasm are essential elements for this role as is proven leadership capability and creative thinking.

 

You’ll also:

  • Have the ability to influence at senior levels both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills, targeting a wide audience from customers to internal stakeholders.
  • Be able to run sizable projects and work streams from concept to delivery.
  • Have prior knowledge of running multi-pronged communications campaigns.
  • Be able to demonstrate your experience of leading major new product launches.
  • Experience / track record in using data to evaluate the performance of your brand.
