Position Summary
Here at Nestlé Health Science, we are currently recruiting for a talented individual to join us, as a Brand Manager, reporting into the Senior Brand Manager. As a Brand Manager, your main purpose will be to contribute to the growth of Nestle Health Science in the UK&I by creating and executing brand plans that align with the VMHS (Vitamins, Minerals and Health Supplements) portfolio ambition. You will be responsible for delivering specific business targets and ensuring the success of our Vital Proteins brand in the market. You will be a part of a team based in our Crawley office where you will share the value of open communication to generate impact and return towards our common goals.
A day in the life of a Brand Manager
Are you passionate about driving brand growth and delivering exceptional results? Do you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? There will be responsibility for both defining brand strategy and executing innovation & comms to drive brand growth. Your responsibilities would also include:
- Develop a deep understanding of the brand's performance metrics, both internal and external, and effectively communicate reasons for the brand's performance to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Senior Brand Manager to develop and execute long-term plans and integrated communication campaigns.
- Identify brand and category issues, devise solutions, and implement them to improve brand performance.
- Champion the brand with a thorough understanding of consumers and the category, ensuring that brand initiatives are rooted in consumer insights.
- Manage the brand's P&L and conduct financial analysis to improve sales and profit performance.
- Optimise the use of brand budgets, ensuring effective spend and eliminating waste.
- Lead cross-functional external teams to deliver impactful communications campaigns.
- Develop and execute strong retail execution plans in collaboration with commercial leads.
- Evaluate marketing activities and incorporate learnings into future plans.
- Manage brand performance, understand risks and opportunities, and develop commercial propositions to support brand initiatives.
What will make you successful
To be successful in this role you will already have some fantastic marketing experience under your belt, ideally within a Brand Manager role previously within CPG or VMHS. You will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for the brands, you will have strong project management and analytical skills. You will need to be highly organised, conscientious and a team player. Pro-activity and enthusiasm are essential elements for this role as is proven leadership capability and creative thinking. You’ll also:
- Have the ability to influence at senior levels both internally and externally
- Familiarity or interest in the VMHS category and the wider wellness landscape
- Proficiency in social media, CRM, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategies
- Demonstrate strong presentation skills, targeting a wide audience from customers to internal stakeholders
- Be capable of P&L management and financial analysis to improve portfolio profitability
- Demonstrate effective communication skills at all levels
- Be able to run sizeable projects and work streams from concept to delivery
- Experience in coordinating and participating in cross functional team
