Are you a foodie with a passion for social media? We’re looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team who can whisk up some excitement on the Carnation® social channels! 

 

About us:  

We like baking. A lot. Our Carnation® products have brought a little sweet deliciousness to kitchens for over a century! Whether we’re baking, topping or mixing, we’re all about making family desserts easier than ever. On social media, we want to entertain and build our baking community.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and execute Carnation®’s social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, X, YouTube, etc.  

  • Create engaging social content that boosts our brand's online presence and adds value to our community.  

  • Use social listening to jump on both social and food trends to keep Carnation® relevant. 

  • Harness the power of community management to drive engagement and brand love.  

  • Collaborate closely with wider teams such as our in-house Content Studio, Consumer Services, Brand, Digital & eCommerce. 

  • Discover and manage relationships with creators across both paid and organic campaigns.  

  • Proactively address potential issues to safeguard our brand's reputation. 

  • Regularly report on social performance metrics and track progress against KPIs.  

 

 

Experience:  

  • 2 years+ working in social media, either in agency or in-house.  

  • Strong understanding of paid, owned & earned social strategy.  

  • Skilled at creating engaging content, particularly on TikTok. Send us your portfolio if you’ve got one, we’d love to see your work!  

  • Experienced managing social communities for brands and driving engagement.  

  • Well-versed in jumping on trends as they’re happening.  

  • Proficient using social media tools for reporting and social listening, and comfortable reporting back to key stakeholders.  

  • Experienced collaborating with influencers and other brands.
