The Role
As the Advanced Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for build and manage a pipeline of advanced analytics use cases that enhance decision-making across marketing, sales and operational functions.
This role involves analyzing diverse data sources to uncover actionable insights and translating them into strategic recommendations and define the learning agenda based on the business need and fosters a culture of analytics excellence within the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence marketing investments, growth initiatives and strategic decisions for the future of the category. This position requires running proof of concepts (POCs) and develop scalable programs that industrialize successful analytics initiatives, ultimately contributing to a holistic understanding of business and untapped value, while promoting the change management.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement a roadmap for advanced analytics use cases, which can be related to cross-functional needs: forecasting, marketing effectiveness, pricing strategies, ecommerce optimization etc. for Purina EUR.
- Lead a dedicated team of IT resources (Data Scientists and/or Data Engineers) for the elaboration of the use cases.
- Lead the adoption of analytics tools and methodologies, ensuring their effective integration into business practices
- Standardize processes for planning, optimization, and evaluation.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across markets, leveraging insights from diverse data sources to inform decision-making
- Work with training and development teams to create programs that enhance the analytical capabilities of Purina central teams and/or markets.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in advanced analytics / data science and AI to drive innovation within the analytics function.
- Partner with global, zone and local teams to define strategic directions and maximize the value derived from analytics initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in analytics consulting/delivery, particularly in marketing analytics and forecasting
- Strong expertise in advanced analytics techniques, including predictive analytics, marketing mix modeling, and effectiveness measurement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and coordinate across diverse functions.
- Proven ability to manage change and develop training programs to enhance team capabilities.
- Experience in handling multiple priorities and delivering results under pressure.
- Fluent in English, both written and oral.
