POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Marketing Capability & Creative Excellence Manager is accountable for building world‑class brand building capabilities across Nestlé Vietnam, ensuring that Brand Building the Nestlé Way (BBNW) is deeply understood, consistently applied, and measurably improves brand performance.
This role acts as the bridge between Global/Zone marketing frameworks and local execution, embedding BBNW, strengthening foundational marketing skills, and accelerating the transformation toward best‑in‑class brand building in Vietnam.

 

MAIN DUTIES

 

1. Lead BBNW Deployment & Governance
- Lead the local adoption and application of BBNW across priority brands.
- Ensure consistent use of brand fundamentals and the 4Us model (Unrivalled Superiority, Unbeatable Value, Unmissable Visibility, Unforgettable Communication).
- Act as the local subject‑matter expert on modern brand building frameworks and best practices. 
- Ensure Adherence of BBNW & Capability Building Application in Daily Work: correct use of BBNW templates, tools, and materials in day‑to‑day brand activities.

2. Design & Drive Marketing Capability Building at Scale
- Diagnose capability gaps across marketing teams and design structured capability‑building roadmaps.
- Build structured learning journeys combining: Global programs (BBNW, Mini‑MBA, GROW); Local workshops, coaching, and applied learning
- Partner closely with HR and Learning teams to embed capability development into talent and performance processes.

3.  Steward strategic agency partnerships
- Act as the relationship steward to ensure strong collaboration, mutual trust, and consistently high standards of output; lead bi‑annual, two‑way relationship evaluations, capturing structured feedback from Nestlé to agencies and from agencies to Nestlé and translate insights into clear improvement actions to strengthen partnership effectiveness over time.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Deep understanding of brand building fundamentals and modern marketing.
  • Ability to translate complex frameworks into clear, practical guidance.
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills, with impact without formal authority.
  • Structured, disciplined, and comfortable leading change.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or marketing excellence roles.
  • Strong grounding in brand strategy, communication development, and consumer‑centric marketing.
  • Experience in capability building, training, or coaching is highly desirable.
  • FMCG or consumer goods experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced marketing or business qualifications are a plus.
