POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Senior Manager Marketing will lead marketing campaigns for VOWST, targeting healthcare professionals and patients for the treatment of recurrent C-Difficile. They will develop a new strategic campaign to re-establish relevancy, drive sales growth, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role involves developing communication plans, optimizing marketing spend, and leading strategic planning for long-term growth. The Senior Marketing Manager will tailor messaging to specific customer segments, develop omni-channel plans, and use data-driven decision-making. They will also collaborate with external stakeholders and ensure compliance with guidelines and policies. The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading all submissions with Legal, Regulatory and Medical to obtain approval for campaign developed resources, tactics and ensure adherence to guidelines and policies.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITES:

 

Short and Long-term Platform/Product Line Management

  • Lead the identification of insights through multiple data sources (i.e. HCP Attitude awareness, competitive, market research studies, external trend reports) and working collaboratively with Market Research & Commercial Analytics
  • Lead the Monthly Business planning process and works closely with Sales, Finance and Operations (FEM Process) to identify opportunities to amplify and risks to mitigate to achieve topline, bottom line and market share goals for current year
  • Develops and manages platform marketing and promotion budget
  • Develops functional requirements for product enhancements and new products to ensure that requirements identify the market need/problem, and leads cross functional team to develop the solution that best meets the market need/problem
  • Determines required marketing mix to support annual/strategic plan objectives
  • Provides direction and collaborates across the organization as appropriate for the development of marketing programs and marketing literature that compliment product and channel needs
  • Works with supply chain to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Drives strategic thought leadership around Price Pack Architecture and works closely with Sales on customer strategy & identifying distribution opportunities

 

Annual Marketing Plan and Budget

  • Develops and executes the annual marketing plan for the platform and assigned program
  • Leads work with agencies and internal Creative Services in the creation and management of strategic materials such as TVC and digital content to promote VOWST
  • Establishes platform/product sales, profit, and A&P marketing budgets
  • Lead in launch communications for new and renovated items and assists in development with I&R teams
  • Measures and monitors performance against plan and program effectiveness 
  • Modifies plans or implements corrective actions as necessary

 

Competitive/Market Analysis

  • Evaluates industry trends, competitive situation, customer feedback, technological advances and converts insights to marketing requirements
  • Formulates and executes successful competitive research and action plan development

 

People Development

  • Development of Associate Brand Manager (Special Assignments for top internal talent), coaching & guiding to support performance & development goals
  • Provides support for training, mentorship, and exposure to Director & VP on key initiatives 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred, business, communications, or science)
  • 5+ years in the Pharmaceutical/Bio Pharma industry
  • 3+ years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing or Pharmaceutical Marketing support roles

 

SKILLS:

 

  • Leadership of a brand and experience with P&L management
  • Demonstrated leadership presence, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • Analytical rigor (research assessment, business performance data, financial assessments)
  • Ability to assess, develop and implement innovative business opportunities
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams
  • Strong interpersonal/communications skills
  • Timeline/critical path management 
  • Collaborative, strong team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders

 

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $170,000- $185,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
