Position Summary 

 

As a Consumer & Market Insights and Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for providing analysis, insights, and information that enhance understanding of cross-category dynamics at market level. This role supports the business in translating market research learnings into actionable insights, enabling informed strategic decisions regarding market dynamics and consumer evolution.

 

 

A Day in the Life of a Consumer & Market Insights and Analytics Specialist

 

  • Drive excellence in consumer insight to support brand builders
  • Provide analysis, insights and information which help to understand the cross-category / category dynamics at market level
  • Monitor and identify trends and opportunities for NIM (Nestlé in the Market) brands.
  • Coordinate and implement analysis with research partners, ensuring quality processes.
  • Recommend methodologies and analytical approaches.
  • Partner with the Business and Corporate Functions to generate demand.
  • Drive excellence in consumer insights to support brand builders.
  • Manage the local research plan focusing on cross-category and citizen insights.
  • Provide insights support for local strategy and Market Business Strategy.
  • Facilitate transformation of trends into actionable business actions.

 

 

What will make you successful

 

  • Proven experience in market research at Nestlé or equivalent FMCG/Market Research Agency.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets using sources of data such as Nielsen, Power BI, or equivalent.
  • Strategic understanding of business dynamics and insight translation.
  • Ability to influence across the organization and build strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated consumer empathy and ability to derive actionable insights.
  • Strong skills in expressing ideas clearly and demonstrating strategic thinking.
  • Capacity to zoom in on details while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse functions and expertise levels.
  • Fluent in English and German, French is a plus.
