Position summary 

 

The DTC Product Owner will play a critical role in building and rolling out our D2C eco-system. Join our team and drive the development and integration of eCommerce capabilities to deliver exceptional digital consumer solutions and experiences.
 
A day in the life of a DTC Product Owner

 

  • Define and communicate the ecommerce shopping experience, providing direction to a multidisciplinary team.
  • Utilize consumer insights and data to manage a feature and optimization roadmap for an outstanding shopping experience.
  • Plan, refine, and prioritize the ecommerce development backlog, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies.
  • Collaborate with business teams to prioritize features and break them down into deliverable backlog items.
  • Develop user stories, define acceptance criteria, and approve user stories during sprints.
  • Measure success through defined Objectives and Key Results.
  • Manage stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure project progress.
  • Orchestrate roles and responsibilities within the wider project team structure to operate DTC.

 

What will make you successful 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Marketing, IT/Project Management, or Software Development.
  • Solid experience in Ecommerce product ownership in large projects across multiple markets.
  • Experience in project implementation and run phases, using project management and versioning tools.
  • Experience working with partners in platform delivery.
  • Proficiency in Agile, Lean, and rapid design and development processes.
  • Familiarity with technology solutions such as Adobe Commerce, Commerce Cloud, ERP, payment gateways, and analytics tools.
  • Experience in D2C models and FMCG sector is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to understand and articulate customer needs.
  • Experience managing relationships within a large, multinational, matrix organization.
  • High-energy, self-motivated, and collaborative with remote teams.
  • Technical literacy and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong digital literacy and understanding of design trends, consumer behavior, and web analytics.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken), additional languages are an asset.
